Three Ocean City Boats Win Gold Medals
Red Raiders shine during Atlantic County Rowing Championships

The Ocean City High School boys crew teams won three gold medals at the Atlantic County Rowing Championships held on Lake Lenape in Mays Landing on May 13.
The Red Raiders' boys novice four, boys junior four and boys lightweight eight all crossed the finish line first in their respective races.
The novice four boat of Pat McCarron, Christian McDermott, Mike Daddi,Zack Colao and coxswain Alec Helm finished with a time of 6 minutes, 18.8 seconds, beating second-place Egg Harbor Township by 10 seconds.

The junior four of Noah Bromhead, Dennis Neville, Tyler Carroll, Will Graham and coxswain Chris Barham won with a time of 6:07.8. The next closest boat was Oakcrest, more than 12 seconds behind.
The lightweight eight, which includes Connor Brady, Joe Graham, Nick Matousch, Tom Klevinsky, Cory Raab, Jordan Baker, Patrick Carr, Jacob Newsome and coxswain Justin Goucher finished in 5:11.8, topping second-place Oakcrest by 4.38.
