'Trish LeFever Field' Dedicated at Alumni Field Hockey Game
The naming honors the legendary former varsity coach.

The field at that serves as home to the Ocean City High School varsity field hockey team was dedicated Saturday (Sept. 3) to honor legendary coach Trish LeFever.
All games will now be played at Trish LeFever Field.
LeFever announced her retirement in May 2010 after 29 seasons and almost 500 wins as head coach of the Ocean City field hockey team.

Before the dedication, LeFever coached former players in the 20th annual Alumni Game featuring a matchup of current and graduated players.
The sanctioned scrimmage ended with a 5-3 victory for the current varsity squad. Families of current and former players also came
together after the game for a team barbecue and season kickoff rally.
The game was organized by Marcia Miller Shallcross, Class of 1989. Alumni T-shirts are still available and can be purchased by contacting Shallcross at 609-390-0247.
