Trombone Shorty Performs In Ocean City Friday Night
Born and raised in New Orleans, Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews, carries on the brass jazz tradition with a modern twist.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — The Ocean City Music Pier will be overcome with the sounds of New Orleans Jazz Friday night. Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue will perform at 8 p.m. on Friday night, June 9. Born and raised in New Orleans, Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews, carries on the brass jazz tradition with a modern twist.
He has 11 albums, including the recently released “Parking Lot Symphony.” He’s performed at halftime of the NBA All-Star Game, and has appeared on “Conan,” “The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson,” “Jay Leno,” “David Letterman” and “Jimmy Kimmel.”
