Two Ocean City Natives Earn Big 10 Academic Honors

Ocean City, NJ -- Two Ocean City natives were among a total of 1,023 students competing in fall sports who were named to the Big Ten Conference’s Academic All-Conference team, the conference announced on Wednesday.

Katie Johnson and Ali Sever qualified as letter winners who are in at least their second academic year at their institution and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.

Johnson is a junior majoring in Elementary Education while playing field hockey at Indiana University. Sever is a senior majoring in Accounting while playing field hockey at Rutgers University.
