Upper Township Democratic Club presents Good Citizenship Award

The Upper Township Democratic Club presented the Good Citizenship Award to Upper Township Middle School students Lily Pettit and Frank Steelman at an awards ceremony held at the school on June 7. The Eighth Graders were recognized for their outstanding community and civic involvement, while showing kindness and inclusivity in social and peer interactions.

The award, along with a $100 check for each student was presented by Tom Hodukavich and Jocelyn Payne, who are officers with the Upper Township Democratic Club.

“Lily and Frank have demonstrated values that align with the Democratic party,” said club president, Janet Yunghans. “At a time when there are so many divisive forces in our society, we are proud to recognize those who practice kindness and acceptance of others.”
