Veterans Day Ceremony Set For Saturday Morning In Ocean City

Residents are invited to attend and honor those who have served our country.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Ocean City's annual Veterans Day ceremony is set for Nov. 11 at 11 a.m.

The annual ceremony, held at the Ocean City Tabernacle, includes music, prayer and remarks from local veterans.

"I encourage everybody to attend and honor the men and women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces," said Mayor Jay Gillian.

This year's keynote speaker is Connor Clark, an Ocean City High School senior who will enlist in the U.S. Army after graduation. He will speak about his decision to serve his country.

"I'm always proud to see how many Ocean City residents come out to support our veterans, and I'm also grateful for all that our veterans do for our community," Gillian said.
