Violent Winds Send Tree Through NJ Transit Train Cab

The tree crashed into a train cab on the Atlantic City Rail Line.

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — Strong winds overnight Monday into Tuesday send a tree crashing through a train cab.

"To give you an idea of how violent the weather was last night, this tree crashed into the engineer's cab of an Atlantic City Rail Line train," NJ Transit posted on X.

No passengers or the engineer were injured.

Storms had a "significant impact" on multiple train lines Monday night, but all resumed service Tuesday morning with some delays.
