OCEAN CITY, NJ — This fall, join the Ocean City Arts Center on one of their annual bus trips. On Nov. 3, they will be visiting the 47th Annual Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show.

The bus leaves Ocean City Arts Center at 9:15 a.m. and leaves Philadelphia at 5:00 p.m. The trip is $75 per person and includes bus transport and show ticket.

The Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show was founded in 1977 and was the first retail craft show established and organized by a volunteer committee for the benefit of a non-profit institution. "This premier show and sale of contemporary craft and design includes 195 of the finest and most dynamic craft artists in the United States, selected by an esteemed panel of craft experts," according to a news release.

"This dynamic show has always been in the forefront of craft education by presenting symposia, on-site artist demonstrations, collection and studio tours, room settings of craft furniture and accessories, and student exhibitions," the news release said.

And there is more to do in Philly, of course. Right across the street from the show is The Reading Terminal Market, one of America’s largest and oldest public markets, housed since 1893 in a National Historic Landmark building, which originally was the Reading train station.
