Voting Begins in Coastal Living's Best Beach in America Competition

Ocean City, NJ -- The time has come for New Jersey residents to show the nation how great Ocean City is.

Ocean City is one of 30 beaches competing in Coastal Living’s inaugural Beach Madness Bracket, "The Best Beach in America 2016."

The bracket for the playoff-style competition was revealed on Friday night. In the first round, Ocean City is matched up against Ogunquit Beach, Maine.

Go to the matchups underneath the bracket. The Ocean City vs. Ogunquit Beach matchup is the 11th one listed. To vote for Ocean City, click on the picture and the vote will be registered.

Voting in this round lasts through Thursday, March 17, 5 p.m. Round 2 begins two hours later.

The rest of the competition will run as follows:

Round 3: (Elite Eight): March 23, 7 pm - March 28, 5 pm

Round 4: (Final Four): March 28, 7 pm - March 31, 5 pm

Round 5: (Finals): March 31, 7 pm - April 3, midnight

Winner Announced: April 4

The winner will be featured in the June 2016 issue of Coastal Living Magazine, as well as in several special digital packages.
