Water Leak Leads To Cancellations At Ocean City Community Center

OCEAN CITY, NJ — All second-floor fitness classes at the Ocean City Aquatic and Fitness Center are canceled on Monday, July 16, following a leak at the center overnight, city officials announced Monday morning.

An overnight water leak in the Ocean City Aquatics and Fitness Center building forced the closing of the facility earlier in the day, but the pool and fitness room were set to reopen at 9 a.m.

The Ocean City Free Public Library, Ocean City Arts Center, Ocean City Historical Museum and Howard S. Stainton Senior Center remain open on a regular schedule. All aquatics classes remain on their regular schedule.
