UPDATE: Power Outages Persist Throughout South Jersey
Power is out following the storm that hit the region Wednesday night.

Power outages remain throughout South Jersey, but restoration appears to be occurring swiftly, with full restoration for Atlantic City Electric customers expected by midnight.
Most of the outages among Atlantic City Electric customers were in Camden County, where over 650 customers remained without power as of 9 a.m. There were over 600 outages in Atlantic County, almost 600 in Gloucester County and almost 500 in Cumberland County. Outages were minimal in the rest of the coverage area.
The hardest hit towns were Avalon, Hamilton and Margate, according to shorenewstoday.com.

About 1,000 outages remained among PSE&G customers in both Camden and Burlington counties. There were over 200 outages in Mercer County.
Downed trees and flooding were also reported throughout the region, and there was a possible tornado that touched down in Lancaster County, PA., on Wednesday night.
