This Weekend In Ocean City: Fun Things To Do

OCEAN CITY, NJ — While summer isn't quite in full swing yet on the island, there's still fun to be had this upcoming weekend with Juneteenth celebrations, Father's Day and more.

Health And Fitness Expo

On June 17, explore health food, wellness product vendors, yoga and fitness classes, plus a local fashion show at Ocean City Music Pier. A Kids Corner will be there too so the whole family can have fun. This event, hosted by the Healthy Living Advisory Council, is set for 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Juneteenth Celebrations

Tryout For The Ocean City Beach Patrol

Another rookie test is scheduled for June 17 with a 9 a.m. start. The competitive test will include a 500-meter ocean swim, a 500-meter ocean paddleboard, a one-half-mile beach run, a 500-meter erg and a surf dash. All candidates also must complete an interview. Visit OCBP to register.
