Wellness classes for older adults launch in October
Cape Assist's free virtual programs provide resources to encourage healthy lifestyle

Cape Assist’s next installments of its W.I.S.E. Program, a wellness initiative focusing on the health and well-being of individuals 51 and up, will begin in October.
To accommodate more participants, two classes will be offered – one on Wednesday and one on Thursday – beginning at 11:30 a.m. The group setting allows participants to meet like-minded individuals and offer support and encouragement as needed.
During the six virtual sessions, individuals will receive valuable information and resources to create and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Participants will receive guidance on making healthy choices, including what behaviors to avoid, safe practices regarding alcohol, prescription and over-the counter medications; and simple tools to take charge of one’s healthcare.
