What's Happening in Ocean City Next Week?

The following is a sample of upcoming events scheduled for next week in Ocean City:

Aug. 14: Little Miss Ocean City Pageant at the Music Pier, 7 p.m. The scholarship pageant is for girls 8 to 11 who live in Ocean City or attend Ocean City schools or have parents who are Ocean City property owners. Tickets are $10, available at Music Pier Box Office, City Hall Welcome Center or by calling 609-399-6111 or www.ocnj.us/boxoffice.

Aug. 16: Guts and Glory 5K Run/Walk to benefit Crohn’s & Colitis. Early registration is $25 and includes a t-shirt. Registration is $30 on the day of the event. Register online by clicking here. Aug. 16: OC Pops Musical Masterpieces sponsored by Ocean City Home Bank at the Music Pier, 8 p.m.: Hear the thrilling music featured on the PBS special Downton Abbey featuring vocalist Melinda Whittington and pianist Scott Breiner in the lush and romantic Warsaw Concerto.
