Where Is Ocean City Ranked On List Of Best Towns For New Jersey Families?

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Out of the 565 towns in the State of New Jersey, Ocean City is ranked No. 250 on New Jersey Family's "Best Towns for Families 2017."

New Jersey Family is a resource for local parents. Upper Township is the top Cape May County town on the list, checking in at No. 127. Somers Point is No. 236.

The town of Clinton, in Hunterdon County, topped the overall list. The list ranks 511 New Jersey towns "through the lens" of how family friendly they are, from top to bottom.

“This year, we reworked our algorithm to take a deeper dive into high school performance while also weighing things like safety, how affordable a town is, average commute time and more criteria that matters to families,” says Cindy Mironovich, New Jersey Family’s publisher and founder.
