Who's On The Ballot, Where To Vote In Ocean City

Ocean City voters will go to the polls to vote for county and state offices.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — It's just about time for New Jersey residents to elect a new governor, and there's a lot at stake locally, as well. In addition to choosing between Deputy Gov. Kim Guadagno (R) and Democratic challenger Phil Murphy to replace outgoing Gov. Chris Christie, Ocean City residents will vote for freeholder, sheriff and two state races on Tuesday, Nov. 7.

Locally, there are no contested elections. Three candidates are running unopposed for three seats on the Board of Education, including Michael James, Joseph S. Clark Jr. and Cecilia Gallelli-Keyes. Non-partisan council elections take place in the spring.

Democrat Jeff Van Drew faces two obstacles in his quest for re-election to the State Senate, including Republican challenger Mary Gruccio and independent candidate Anthony Parisi Sanchez.
