How Did Ocean City Runners Fare in the Boston Marathon?

Two locals ran with the world's elite on Monday.

Ocean City, NJ -- Two Ocean City residents were among the thousands competing in the 119th Boston Marathon on Monday in Massachusetts.

Joseph DiBartolomeo, 57, and 48-year-old Sue Hinman took on some of the best marathoners in the world along with scores of competitive age group runners from across the globe.

The runners began in waves throughout the day. The racing schedule for the day is as follows:

  • Mobility Impaired: 8:50 a.m.50
  • Men Push-Rim Wheelchair: 9:17 a.m.
  • Women Push-Rim Wheelchair: 9:19 a.m.
  • Handcycles: 9:22 a.m.
  • Elite Women: 9:32 a.m.
  • Elite Men and Wave One: 10:00 a.m.
  • Wave Two: 10:25 a.m.
  • Wave Three: 10:50 a.m.
  • Wave Four: 11:15 a.m.
