Wildwoods Amusement Piers Increase Pay For Summer
NJ.com reports that Morey's Piers will increase seasonal worker pay to get ahead of expected staff shortages.
WILDWOODS, NJ — Morey's Piers, which controls amusement parks in the Wildwoods, announced Monday that they would be increasing seasonal worker pay to up to $16.50 an hour due to expected staff shortages, NJ.com reported.
Seasonal workers will receive perks like free access to amusement rides and water parks, and discounts on rides and food for family and friends.
This is not the first time Morey's Piers has increased pay. Last summer, they increased seasonal pay to $15 an hour. They now are paying seasonal workers $4.60 over the state minimum.
