Winter Weather Advisory Issued in Ocean City Area
The latest forecast calls for 1 to 3 inches of snow before it rains Wednesday.

The National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather advisory for the Ocean City area. The advisory runs from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
The latest forecast calls for 1 to 3 inches of snow before it rains Wednesday evening. Forecasts predict a water level of 5.2 feet (MLW) for the high tide at 8:33 a.m. Wednesday, which falls just below the NWS threshold for minor flooding.
West Avenue is an emergency route and parking is prohibited on both sides of the street when the road is covered by snow, officials said. Officials advised residents to closely monitor forecasts during the advisory period.
