Winterfest Returns In Ocean City This Saturday
Hand-made items and food gifts will be for sale as the holiday season approaches. Santa and The Grinch are also scheduled to appear.
OCEAN CITY, NJ — Santa Claus and the Grinch will both be in Ocean City this weekend for the second annual Winterfest By the Sea.
Winterfest, a holiday market, is Saturday, Nov. 13 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Ocean City Civic Center, the city announced on Facebook.
Hand-made items and specialty foods will be for sale as the holiday season approaches, whether you want to start shopping early or are looking for a little gift for yourself. There will also be activities for children, including the aforementioned visits from Mr. Claus and Mr. Grinch.

Free parking is available in the municipal parking lot nearby; the entrance is on Fifth Street. The Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce is presenting the event.

“Ocean City, NJ shines year round, said Michelle Gillian, executive director of the Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce. "During the holidays, the island takes on a whole new light. We have a beautifully decorated Downtown and Boardwalk and there is a wintery sense of excitement everywhere you look. We hope to help get people in the holiday spirit and promote shopping local."
