Woman Whose Body Was Found in Laundry Was Mother From Salem County: Report

Maria Guzman Morales was a mother of two. The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office has not yet confirmed her identity.

A woman whose body was found in the laundry at a condominium complex in Atlantic City on Sunday was a mother of two from Salem County, The Press of Atlantic City reports.

Friends of Maria Guzman-Morales tell the newspaper she was the woman found dead in a laundry chute at the Atlantic Palace on the 1500 block of Atlantic Avenue around 7 a.m. Sunday morning.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office has yet to release her identity. Results from an autopsy conducted Monday morning have not yet been released.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Atlantic City Police Department continue to investigate the circumstances of the death.
