Work Can Begin On Road And Drainage Project In Ocean City After Appeal Is Denied: Mayor
Mayor Jay Gillian announced on Wednesday afternoon that work can begin.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — For the second time in two weeks, Ocean City Mayor Jay Gillian has announced that work will soon begin on a the drainage project between 26th and 34th streets.
Gillian made the announcement on Wednesday, saying that State Appellate Division and Supreme Court judges both denied an appeal to stop work.
"In addition to paving, the project will replace and add capacity to an aging storm drain system and use four new pumping stations to improve drainage," Gillian said in a statement. "I thank you for your patience and look forward to the successful completion of this important project."
