The prosecutor confirmed the cause of death for one person found in a North Arlington apartment. A child was also found, but unharmed.
NORTH ARLINGTON, NJ — The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office confirmed the identities of two people found dead inside a North Arlington apartment on Wednesday. They are Balaji Rudrawar, 33, and Aarti Rudrawar, 31, a husband and wife.
Both were found with multiple stab wounds, and authorities confirmed that Aarti Rudrawar died after being stabbed by her husband.
Balaji Rudrawar also died as a result of multiple stab wounds, but his manner of death is unconfirmed as the Prosecutor's Office awaits results from an autopsy and investigation.

The deaths were first announced earlier this week after North Arlington Police received a 9-1-1 call from a concerned neighbor at 21 Garden Terrace. This neighbor told police that she looked through the mail slot of apartment E in the complex to find "two people lying on the floor," prosecutors said.
Officers from the North Arlington Police Department responded to the residence and forced entry into the apartment, where they found both Aarti and Balaji Rudrawar deceased. A child was also found in the apartment, but wasn't harmed, prosecutors said.
