2 Killed In Wrong-Way Crash On Garden State Parkway In Paramus
Authorities said the collision happened shortly before 2:30 a.m. Friday. A third person also suffered injuries in the crash.

PARAMUS, NJ — Two people are dead following a wrong-way crash on the Garden State Parkway in Bergen County on Friday morning, according to state police.
Authorities said the crash happened shortly before 2:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes near mile marker 163.4 in Paramus.
According to state police, 38-year-old Diana Cruz of Newark was driving a Honda north in the southbound lanes when her car collided with a Toyota SUV driven by 55-year-old Sunday Ogundare of Newark.

Both Cruz and Ogundare were killed in the crash, police said.
A passenger of the Toyota — a 20-year-old woman from Pompton Plains — suffered moderate injuries and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
