PARAMUS, NJ — If your family loves movie nights but could use a change from the living room, Van Saun County Park has a Friday plan: a free outdoor screening of "Zootopia 2."
The movie will begin after sunset, around 8:30 p.m., at the park, located at 216 Forest Ave in Paramus. Admission is free, and families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and snacks before settling in beneath the sky.
The screening is part of Bergen County's Movies & Music in the Park summer series, which has brought films and concerts to four county parks throughout the season. County Executive Jim Tedesco called the program one of the county's "favorite seasonal traditions" and said officials hoped residents would enjoy "a free, relaxing night out with your family and friends."
"Zootopia 2," rated PG, returns audiences to the animated city where Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde tackle another mystery. The movie screening offers an approachable choice for families looking to wind down together at the end of the week.
Families may want to arrive early enough to choose a comfortable spot, especially for families with younger children or a larger group. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs, pack a few movie-night treats and remember an extra layer of clothing in case the evening turns cool.
The event is weather permitting, so check Bergen County's website or social media pages for updates before leaving home.
