• Paramus Police Search for Missing 15-Year-Old Girl Possibly Traveling to Queens (shorenewsnetwork.com) — Paramus police are asking residents to help locate 15-year-old Khalia Simpson, last seen around 12:10 a.m. Sunday near 278 E. Midland Avenue and possibly headed by NJ Transit bus toward Queens. Anyone who may have seen her, or has information on her whereabouts, is urged to contact the Paramus Police Department immediately.
   

• Paramus Fires Back At Cop Claiming Promotions Were Rigged, Wants Suit Tossed (dailyvoice.com) — Paramus officials have formally responded in court to Officer Michael Boccher Sr.'s lawsuit claiming police promotions were rigged, denying his allegations and asking a judge to dismiss the case. The long-serving Paramus officer says he was repeatedly passed over for sergeant and is seeking back pay, benefits, and a retroactive promotion, while the borough insists its promotion decisions followed the law.
