PARAMUS, NJ — Job seekers interested in keeping Paramus running can meet the people behind the borough's public works operations later this month.
The Paramus Department of Public Works will hold its 2026 job fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, September 26, at 1 Jockish Square, according to a borough announcement.
Visitors can speak with employees and supervisors from the road and sewer, sanitation and recycling, building and grounds, mechanical and shade tree divisions at the job fair, the department's event flyer says.
The flyer quotes Milton Berle: "If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door!"
The event gives job seekers a chance to learn about several teams responsible for maintaining borough services. The borough notice does not list particular openings, qualifications or application materials.
People interested in attending can register by calling 201-265-2100, ext. 3100, or emailing DPW@paramusborough.gov. The flyer also directs readers to the department's Facebook page.
