PARAMUS, NJ — Planning to vote in person in the upcoming general election? Paramus residents should check their assigned polling place before leaving home.
The general election is Tuesday, Nov. 3, and polling places will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., according to the New Jersey Division of Elections.
Residents can confirm their Election Day location rather than assume it is the same as an early voting center.
Voters can find their Election Day location using the state's online polling place search tool.
Their assigned polling place is also printed on the sample ballot sent by Bergen County.
Mail-in ballots cannot be returned to Election Day polling places.
Voters returning completed mail-in ballots can use an authorized ballot drop box or deliver them to their county Board of Elections by 8 p.m. on Election Day.
For additional election information, contact the Bergen County Board of Elections at 201-336-6225.
