Bensi Gives Back to Local Schools

The popular restaurant chain, , already a trendy establishment with a menu that welcomes families, has snared a further niche with clientele already familiar with their cuisine, charity and hospitality: the local school system. 

In November, Bensí launched its new Bensí Brunch with Benefits program, donating 10% of all Sunday brunch proceeds to local grammar school fundraisers. A different grammar school from Paramus and neighboring towns is chosen weekly on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The Bensí Sunday Brunch can accommodate families and large groups. The meal costs $15.95 for adults and $7.95 for children under 10.

Meal options include omelet and carving stations, classic brunch fare and the Bensí chef’s Italian specialties, in addition to a chocolate fountain with dipping treats like strawberries and marshmallows.

The program runs through June 30.

“For years, Bensí has been supporting school programs in various ways—from offering school lunches with customized meals that are delivered fresh to participating schools, to contributing to local school sports teams,” said John Osso, President of Bensí Restaurant Group, Inc., about the new program.  “This is our way to continue to give back, and what better way for families to participate in our program than by enjoying a relaxing, delicious Sunday brunch with the beautiful music of jazz pianist, composer and New Jersey-native, John Bianculli.”
