Bergen County Technical High School In Teterboro Ranked The 31st Best High School In The U.S., 3rd Best In N.J.

Bergen County Academies, Northern Valley Regional High School in Demarest were also ranked high in new list by U.S. News and World Report.

Three Bergen County high schools were ranked among the top high schools in the state and the country by U.S. News & World Report this week.

The magazine released its latest rankings of every high school in the United States Tuesday.

Bergen County Technical High School in Teterboro was ranked the 31st best high school in the United States and the third best in New Jersey. Every student who was eligible to take Advanced Placement tests took an average of four of them. More than 95 percent passed.

The school has a college-readiness score of 96 out of 100 and proficiency scores in mathematics and language of 3.7 and 3.6, respectively, out of four.

The school also boasts a low student-to-teacher ratio of 10:1; 635 students are enrolled at the school.

Bergen County Academies in Hackensack was ranked the fifth best high school in New Jersey and 119th in the United States. It boasts a 12:1 student-to-teacher ratio, scored 77 on the college readiness scale and a four and 3.9 in the math and language proficiencies, respectively.

Northern Valley Regional High School At Demarest was ranked 24th in the state and 433rd nationally.
