Bergen County Singer Jake Thistle Learns His Fate On 'American Idol'
On Monday night's "American Idol," Jake Thistle of Bergen County found out whether his audition in front of Lionel Richie was successful.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — It was the final week of auditions for season 24 of "American Idol" on Monday night, and Jake Thistle of Paramus stood to be overshadowed.
The first contestant was Mor Ilderton, who was already known for "The Voice." The West Virginia native sang a song he'd written for his mom, who was killed in an act of domestic violence when Ilderton was 2.
Judges Lionel Richie, Carrie Underwood, and Luke Bryan all voted to send Ilderton to "Hollywood Week" to perform again.
