Bergen Football Star Jabrill Peppers Tests Positive For Diluted Urine Sample: Reports
Jabrill Peppers, the former 4-time state champ Paramus Catholic, has tested positive for a dilute sample following the NFL scouting combine.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Jabrill Peppers, the four-time state-championship winning football star from Paramus Catholic, has tested positive for a diluted urine sample at the NFL's scouting combine, according to reports.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Peppers drank eight to 10 bottles of water because was ill after flying to Indianapolis from San Diego, citing a spokesperson with Creative Artists Agency, which represents Peppers.
"He had to go through that first day, come back on second day, and that was the fear. So Peppers was pounding water and under the weather," the statement said. "He never failed a drug test in his life, nor tested positive before for any substance."

Up until now, experts have projected Peppers to be selected in the first round of the NFL Draft Thursday. ESPN's Mel Kiper projected Peppers to be selected No. 15 by the Indianapolis Colts.
Peppers, a player noted for his ability to play multiple positions on both offense and defense. He was a Heisman Trophy finalist this year.

Peppers said in the ESPN report that he sees himself playing safety in the NFL, the position he played the most while at the University of Michigan.
Peppers won four consecutive state group championships in high school, two for Don Bosco Prep and two for Paramus Catholic.
