Bergen High School Ranked No. 3 In NJ By U.S. News And World Report
19 other Bergen County schools were ranked among the best in New Jersey.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A Bergen County high school was ranked No. 3 in New Jersey by U.S. News And World Report.
The magazine released its annual list of the best public high schools Tuesday at both the national and state levels.
Bergen County Technical High School at Teterboro was ranked No. 3 in New Jersey and 63rd nationally.

The 2017 rankings of best high schools identify the top-performing public schools and include data on more than 20,000 high schools. (See the entire list here.)
To be considered among the best, high schools had to pass a rigorous four-step process that sought to determine whether a school was serving all of its students and not just those who are college bound.

Tenafly High School was the only other Bergen County institution ranked in the top 20 statewide.

- 23rd: Northern Highlands Regional High School, Allendale
- 26th: Ridgewood High School
- 31st: Ramapo High School
- 35th: Leonia High School
- 37th: Bergenfield High School
- 38th: Pascack Hills High School, Montvale
- 43rd: Bergen Arts And Sciences Charter School, Garfield
- 44th: Mahwah High School
- 45th: Ramsey High School
- 46th: Dumont High School
- 54th: River Dell Regional High School, Oradell
- 55th: Westwood Junior/Senior High School, Washington Township
- 56th: Emerson Jr./Sr. High
- 57th Bergen County Academies, Hackensack
- 58th: Fort Lee High School
- 65th: New Milford High School
- 68th: Bogota Jr./Sr. High School
- 77th: Ridgefield Park Jr./Sr. High School
