COVID-19 Booster Shots Available At Bergen New Bridge
The first booster shots will be given out on Friday, but eligible residents can get their booster jab during normal hours moving forward.

PARAMUS, NJ — Bergen New Bridge Medical Center began offering COVID-19 booster shots at 7 a.m. on Friday morning, the county and hospital announced.
Booster shots are offered for all three available vaccines.
As per CDC guidance, the following groups are eligible for a booster shot at 6 months or more after their initial series of the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine:

- 65 years and older
- Age 18+ who live in long-term care settings
- Age 18+ who have underlying medical conditions
- Age 18+ who work or live in high-risk settings
For individuals who received the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine, booster shots are also recommended for those who are 18 and older and were vaccinated two or more months ago, the county said.
The Bergen County Vaccination Center is hosting special hours on Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for booster shots. Boosters will also be available during normal operating hours Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
