$50K, 'Ghost Gun' Found In East Bergen, 1 Arrested: Prosecutor

Narcotics investigators found more than 25 pounds of marijuana, a homemade firearm or "ghost gun," and more than $50,000 in cash Tuesday.

PARAMUS, NJ — Narcotics investigators found more than 25 pounds of marijuana, a homemade firearm or "ghost gun," and more than $50,000 in cash while searching a vehicle in Fort Lee on Tuesday.

A man from New Vineyard, Maine was arrested in connection with the vehicle search, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.

Carleton Dixon, 39, faces drug possession and distribution charges as well as weapons charges and a money laundering charge. He was taken to the prosecutor's office in Paramus for booking, and then taken to the Bergen County Jail.
