Election Preview: Paramus Board of Education
Seven candidates are seeking election to the three open Board of Ed seats
With the borough Mayor and Council opting to move the school board elections to November, seven candidates will appear on the ballot for the three open seats.
Incumbents Bernadette McCausland (former controller and auditor), Frank Straka (teacher of the dandicapped) and Anthony Feorenzo Jr. (owner, Mercury Rising Properties) are all seeking reelection this year.
They will face Usman Chaudhary (software engineer), Caroline Suh (Paramus Class of 2003/University of Chicago Class of 2007), Alison Donoghue (transition coordinator for River Dell High School), and Judith Abel (retired NYC Dept of Ed. Education Administrator).

Frank A. Scibetti Jr. had filed to run again this year but passed away in May.
