Free Skin Cancer Screening for Paramus Municipal Pool Members and Staff

Research has shown that 80% of all skin cancers could be prevented by using protection from the sun’s harmful rays.  Staying in the shade from 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m., wearing a hat and covering as much skin as possible will reduce the risk of skin cancer later in life.

A free skin cancer screening, sponsored by the Paramus Board of Health, will be held for  pool members and staff on Tuesday, July 26th  from 1:30 to 3:30 pm  at the Paramus Municipal Pool.  Dr. Monika Srivastava from Advanced Laser & Skin Cancer Center in Teaneck, New Jersey will perform the screenings.  Pool members are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to ask questions and to have any sun damaged skin examined.

For questions, call 201-265-2100, Ext. 615 or 618.
