Former NY Giant Linebacker, Jessie Armstead, will visit the Stop & Shop Supermarket located at 859 Route 17 in Paramus on Saturday, October 8th. Armstead will sign autographs and pose for pictures with NY Giant fans. Stop & Shop is the official supermarket of the NY Giants.
Armstead played in the NFL for 12 years with the NY Giants, Carolina Panthers and Washington Redskins. He was drafted by the NY Giants in 1993 in the eighth round as a linebacker. He participated in 6 playoff games, was a 5-time Pro Bowler and was named first team All-Pro.
Armstead had 752 career tackles with forty sacks and 12 interceptions for 175 yards. On June 13, 2007, Armstead signed a one day contract with the NY Giants to officially retire as a NY Giant.

He attended The University of Miami and was a college standout player in Miami’s two national championships in 1989 and 1991.
Hired by the NY Giants as a consultant in 2008, Armstead is responsible for special projects, defensive assignments, player development and free agent recruiting. Armstead is also the owner of the Hamilton Honda car dealership. He has two daughters Jessica and Jaya with his wife Channon.
