PARAMUS, NJ — Jennifer Aydin, star of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," said thieves stole her husband's Ferrari from the garage Sunday night while her family and children were in their Paramus home.

Paramus Police are investigating the theft, according to Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg.

Police said the suspect got into another family vehicle, which was unlocked in the driveway, and found the garage door opener. They opened the doors and got into the Ferrari, which had the keys in it, Ehrenberg said. The suspects also "stole several small items from the garage," he said.

Aydin shared a video on her Instagram page showing three people in her Alpine Drive garage Sunday night. The people open all the garage doors and remove the cover from the red Ferrari California. They appear to take some shoes and other items.

One person gets into the red luxury car and backs it up into the driveway, the video shows.

"They somehow got in the garage and they stole the Ferrari," Aydin said in an Instagram story, urging anyone with information to contact her or Paramus PD.

Aydin said four of her children, her parents, the family's nanny, and the family's au pair were home when the thieves came.

Her son pulled into the driveway less than a minute after the thieves left, Aydin said.

Police said Aydin's son saw the car "speed away from their home." He called police at about 10:50 p.m. Sunday, Ehrenberg said.

"My family is safe and that's all that matters," Aydin wrote on Instagram Monday morning. Aydin said herself and her husband Bill were out of state and will return Monday.

Aydin joined the "RHONJ" cast in season 10. Her husband is a plastic surgeon.
