Fire At Paramus Park Mall: Reports
Smoke was seen billowing from the roof of Macy's, according to reports.
PARAMUS, NJ — There was a fire Sunday at Macy’s in the Paramus Park mall, according to reports.
A transformer may have malfunctioned on the department store’s roof, NorthJersey.com reported, adding there was lots of smoke but no visible flames outside the building.
Fire and PSE&G officials responded and police closed sections of From Road and the mall parking lot, according to NorthJersey.com.

The incident occurred around 12:30 p.m., the Daily Voice reported, noting the damage was determined to be minor.
