Former Paramus Catholic Football Star Jabrill Peppers Named Big Ten Defensive Player Of The Week

Peppers was a nationally-recruited player for the Paladins.

PARAMUS, N.J. — Jabrill Peppers, a former nationally-ranked player at Paramus Catholic High School, was named the Big Ten Co-Defensive Player of the Week.

Peppers, a sophomore, is a linebacker and defensive back with the Michigan Wolvernies.

Peppers had three-and-half tackles for a loss against Colorado, including a sack. He finished the game with nine tackles, including six solo.

He leads the nation in tackles for a loss with 9.5.

Peppers has already garnered attention from NFL Draft experts about the possibility of going pro next year.

Bleacher Report NFL Draft Lead Analyst Matt Miller wrote that Peppers already compares to last year's No. 5 overall pick Jalen Ramsey.
