Former Paramus Catholic Football Star Named Big 10 Freshman Of The Week

Safety Jabrill Peppers is a safety on the league's best pass defense.


Jabrill Peppers, the former Paramus Catholic High School football star, has been named the Big Ten co-freshman of the week.

Peppers, an East Orange native, registered five tackles, including nearly two for a loss, during Michigan’s shutout win against Northwestern Saturday.

Peppers is a safety on a defense that leads the Big Ten and ranks second nationally in passing yards allowed, giving up just 115 passing yards a game.
