iFLY, Indoor Skydiving Facility, Opens In Paramus

Breaking: iFLY gives people the chance to feel like they are skydiving, except without the plane or parachute. It opened Friday.

PARAMUS, NJ — iFLY, the business that gives people the chance to feel like they are skydiving, is open.

It is the first New Jersey location for the Texas-basd iFLY. Evelyn Weiss Francisco, a spokesperson for iFLY, confirmed the opening. Prospective fliers can reserve a session online.

iFLY was originally slated to open April 13.

iFLY gives customers the chance to don a special suit and goggles and step into a vertical wind tunnel that simulates free falling.

But the rush doesn't come cheap. Flight packages start at $89.95.

Participants must sign a flight waver and weigh less than 300 pounds.

Participants can purchase photos and videos of their experience from iFLY's website.
