IMA to Host Cyber Security Presentation and Networking Event for Local Accounting and Finance Professionals

Montvale, N.J., Sept. 10, 2015 – IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants), the association of accountants and financial professionals in business, invites accounting and finance professionals from New Jersey and the surrounding area to a networking event that will be held Tuesday, Oct. 6, at its Montvale, N.J. headquarters.

IMA’s Jeff Thomson, president and CEO, and Sean Hare, vice president of information technology, will provide an overview about the top cyber security and fraud trends, as well as strategies for better protection. Attendees of the event, which is presented in collaboration with the Montvale Chamber of Commerce, will earn one continuing professional education (CPE) credit hour from the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA).
