LaBarbiera, Democrats Sweep Paramus Election

The incumbent Democrat defeated his Republican challenger. Holly Tedesco-Santos and Pat Verile will serve another term on the council.

PARAMUS, NJ — The Democrats swept the mayoral and borough council election Tuesday.

Richard LaBarbiera gets another term as mayor and Holly Tedesco-Santos and Pat Verile will each serve another term on the council.

LaBarbiera defeated Republican challenger Jeanne Weber. Tedesco-Santos and Verile defeated Jorge Quintana and Mohammed Reda.

The local Board of Education election was decided before the first ballot was cast.

Alison Donoghue, Bernadette McCausland, and Anthony Feorenzo Jr. will each serve another three-year term.
