New Bridge Partners With Paramus Veterans Home For COVID Vaccines
Bergen New Bridge will provide third COVID-19 shots, as well as booster shots, to residents and staff at the Paramus Veterans Memorial Home.

PARAMUS, NJ — Bergen New Bridge Medical Center has partnered with the Veterans Memorial Home in Paramus to provide a third shot of the COVID-19 vaccine, as well as booster shots to eligible residents and staff.
"Protecting those most vulnerable to COVID-19 and serving our veterans are top priorities for our Medical Center," said Deborah Visconi, president and CEO of Bergen New Bridge. "Our partnership with our neighbors, the NJ Veterans Memorial Home, is a privilege and we are thankful to be able to vaccinate and further protect their residents. We are proud to continue the work that helps lead the way out of this pandemic."
The state veterans homes were the subject of a grand jury investigation after outbreaks hit in Paramus and Menlo Park, and later when it was determined that leadership at the Paramus home dismissed health concerns, and valued the sanctity of their operations over staff health matters.
