Paramus 14U Baseball Team Wins Tournament

The Paramus Spartans won the 2011 Spring PBI Tournament on Sunday, beating the Fair Lawn Cutters 11 – 0 to win the 14U Championship. 

Jarred Hermann threw a two-hit shutout in five innings. The defense supported him with 11 putouts.

Manager Dave Ferrara said he couldn't be more proud.

"This is a great start to our summer season with winning the Bergen County Classic and now the PBI Tournament," he said.

The Spartans went undefeated for the season.
