Paramus Coronavirus: Couple Dies Days Apart In Veterans Home
Tony and Nancy Tedeschi died four days apart following a coronavirus outbreak at Paramus Veterans Home which has killed 55, infected 189.
PARAMUS, NJ — Tony and Nancy Tedeschi were nearly inseparable for the last 36 years. According to a report on northjersey.com, the couple could often be seen singing their favorite songs at the New Jersey Veterans Home in Paramus.
That veterans home has faced a coronavirus outbreak that has infected 189 residents and killed 55 as of Monday, April 27. The Tedeschis, according to the report, are among those 55. They died this month during the outbreak.
According to the report, families and staff are voicing their frustrations about "breakdowns in care and communication" at the veterans home. For the family of Tony and Nancy Tedeschi, however, they say the couple received the proper care at the end of their lives.
