Paramus Elections: 2 Republicans, Democrats Seek Council Seats

PARAMUS, NJ — Four candidates will compete for two Paramus Council seats in 2021, with only one incumbent seeking re-election.

Holly Tedesco-Santos hopes to retain her seat, but the council position held by Pat Verile is up for grabs with the incumbent not having filed to run.

Josephine Giugliano is running as a Democrat — as is Tedesco-Santos — while Ace Antonio and Robert Kaiser are running as Republicans.

This past Monday was the deadline for candidates to submit their names to run.

However, the deadline for independent candidates (not running under any official party) who wish to run is June 8, 2021.
