Paramus' Lugtu Moves Ahead in County Tennis Tourney

Semi-finals and Finals continue for the large schools competition in the Bergen County Tennis tournament.

Paramus High School continues into the Finals of the Bergen County Tennis Tournament which will continue this weekend at Old Tappan High School.

In semi-finals this weekend, Paramus' Ryan Lugtu defeated Sakura Yamaji of Old Tappan - 7-5, 6-5.

According to team standings on NorthJersey.com, the Paramus team is currently in 10th place.

Dominant doubles play earned Dwight-Englewood a share of the Bergen County small schools team tennis championship on Saturday.

The Bulldogs finished with 15 points over the course of the tournament, tying them with division rival Saddle River Day for the county's team title.
